Osimhen equals goal record, could shoot Nigeria to 5th title

Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen converted from the spot on
the 83rd minute against Mexico in the semi final of
the ongoing 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup, to give
Nigeria a 4-2 lead.
The Significance of his goal is that equals the 2001
T&T World Cup- goal haul of French man Florent
Sinama Pongolle (9) in a single tournament.
Equally, the strike means Osimhen has scored in
every game of the tournament leading into the semis
– 6 games.
Meanwhile, if he remains fit throughout the World
Cup he can set a new tournament’s record.
